Clinical Trials

Children’s Research Institute (CRI) is a leader in medical research and education programs and is the academic arm of Children’s National Medical Center. As part of CRI’s mission, experts work to improve prevention, treatment and care of childhood diseases through basic and clinical research and education. More than 300 scientists conduct research to better understand childhood diseases. This means that we can continually apply our findings to clinical methods at the bedside, and constantly provide world-class care for children.

Children’s National offers ongoing opportunities for participation in research studies, including clinical trials, in which clinical researchers analyze the effectiveness and safety of new medications or medical devices by monitoring their effects on large groups of people.
