Center for Cancer and Immunology Research

Research to diagnose and treat childhood cancers as well as infectious diseases and immune system disorders.
Center for Clinical and Community Research

Research to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood diseases through "translational research," which translates to scientific discoveries into practical applications that help young patients and their families. This center pays special attention to disadvantaged and minority populations.
Center for Genetic Medicine Research

Research to diagnose and treat genetic disorders -- diseases and conditions that are caused by inherited genes that don't function normally.
Center for Neuroscience Research 

Research to understand the development of the central nervous system, including what can go wrong with the brain's cells and molecules, in order to prevent or treat neurological and behavioral disorders in children.
