Health Disparities Research Program

Funded by the NIH, the Center for Clinical and Community Research’s Health Disparities Research Center seeks to understand and eliminate the healthcare gaps facing disadvantaged children in the Washington, DC, metro region. In addition, the program supports, trains, and mentors junior investigators who are themselves minorities or who are investigating health disparities.

Health Disparities Research Center specialists focus on The Center for Clinical and Community Research also works to help reduce health disparities through a range of other, related programs including Faculty who study health disparities
