What is Open and Closed on Thursday, February 11, 2010
- Children's National main hospital remains open.
- Surgeries that are scheduled at the main hospital are still scheduled and will occur as scheduled throughout Thursday, Feb. 11.
- For the safety of our patients and employees, many of our off-site locations (including our Regional Outpatient Centers, Health Centers, and Ambulatory Surgery Center in Montgomery County) are closed on Thursday, Feb. 11 due to weather. If you have an appointment at one of these locations for Thursday, a member of our team will contact you to reschedule.
- Three locations are open today for scheduled appointments, including:
- Children's National Specialists of Northern Virginia, LLC
- Northern Virginia Regional Outpatient Center
- Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders of Northern Virginia
Please note that shuttles are available from Union Station if you need to get to the hospital, but the shuttle is not running between Brookland Metro and the hospital. For more information about area transportation closures, visit our links to major transportation websites.
What is Open and Closed on Friday, February 12, 2010
- All operations, sites, and clinics are scheduled to be business as usual on Friday, with all Children’s National sites and offices open for normal business.
- If Metro resumes full operations on Friday, shuttles will be available from both the Union and Brookland Metro stations to the hospital.
