T-shirts created by youth raise awareness about child abuse dangers

Children’s National Medical Center Teen Life Clubs (TLCs) and New Horizons, the arts education and cultural enrichment program at Children's, proudly present  the second annual “Clothesline Project” event and exhibition featuring T-shirts designed by youth who have witnessed or experienced violence. The exhibition also features a display from the DC Rape Crisis Center youth program titled “Who Would You Tell?”

Featured artists are adolescents/teens of the DC Rape Crisis Center youth club and youth, ages 11-14, who are members of Children’s National Teen Life Clubs.

The exhibition will run April 3 through June 27, 2008 in The Gallery at Children's National Medical Center.
