The Food Allergy Program at Children's National Medical Center provides information to help families understand and make good choices. Under Resources for Families, the team offers downloadable educational materials aimed at families with newly diagnosed food allergies, as well as those who have lived with these food allergies long term, including older children and teens. These materials teach parents about how to spot an allergic reaction in a child, simple avoidance techniques to keep children safe, and offer information about specific food allergies including the most common allergies in kids: peanut, milk, and egg.
