Sudden Infant Death Syndrome study published by Dr. Moon

A study published by Rachel Moon, MD, showed that nearly one third of photos in women’s magazines depicted babies in unsafe sleep positions, which puts them at risk for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Dr. Moon recommends that babies fall sleep on their backs rather than their stomachs. She also says babies should sleep on a hard surface with no soft bedding.
