Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging

Nurse Manager
Marjean Cefaratti, RN, BSN

The division of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging provides services to many of Children’s patients. A large percentage of our patients require sedation with and without anesthesia support, therefore the nursing staff engages in patient safety and monitoring. Nurses spend many hours on the phone preparing families for a patient’s scheduled test, answering questions to ensure a positive visit, and placing follow-up calls to check the status of patients.

Nurses in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology have:
  • Past experiences in critical care or emergency nursing
  • Competency in airway management and anesthesia agents
  • PALS certification
  • CPN certification
