Short Stay Unit

Nurse Manager
Lynette Juluke, MSN, BSN, RN

The Short Stay Unit (SSU) is a 14-bed unit for patients who typically require a hospital stay of 72 hours or less. The patient population consists of patients with asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, acute life threatening events (i.e. apnea, reflux) and cellulitis. Most nurses on the unit are certified in pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and many are certified pediatric nurses (CPN).
