Director, Process Improvement
The Performance Improvement (PI) Department supports the advancement of quality in both service and care across Children's National. The department leads and facilitates teams to critically analyze data and systems, identify and implement innovative solutions to complex issues, and improve care processes. It promotes the highest level of care through continuous improvement and demonstrated outcomes. The PI programs includes:
- Use of best practices and clinical pathway development
- Use of improvement science to improve processes and performance
- Education and training in quality and performance improvement
- Data management
- Database development
- Benchmarking
