Heart and Kidney Clinic

Nursing Director
Jeanne Ricks, BSN, MS, RN

Advanced practice nurses in the Heart and Kidney Clinic assist with questions on heart rhythm, Coumadin, syncope, transplantation, pulmonary artery hypertension, cardiovascular, surgical, and adult congenital heart disease. All advanced practice nurses have master’s degrees and also may be certified pediatric nurse practitioners, certified family nurse practitioners, and certified acute care nurse practitioners.

Other nurse certifications in the clinic include certified pediatric nurses (CPN), PALS, ACLS, Heart Rhythm Society certification (formerly NASPE), certification for case management (CCM), and certified clinical transplant coordinator (CCTC).
