Nursing Education - The Trauma Burn Service
Course: Trauma Update
Date: Friday, March 9, 2012
Time: 7:30 am - 12:15pm
(Registration starts at 7:30am. First session begins promptly at 8:00am)
Location: Children's National Medical Center, 2nd Floor Main Auditorium

Education Prevention and Outreach Coordinator
Overview: 4 hour continuing education program for experienced nurses and caregivers who wish to acquaint themselves with new trends and care modalities in pediatric trauma and burn. Contact hours will be provided. Changing venues is offered every Spring and Fall.
Target audience: Experienced Nurses and Care givers who wish to acquaint themselves with new trends and care modalities in pediatric trauma
Announcements from Trauma Burn Service
- Look for quarterly trauma burn educational activities and in-services.
- MedScape CME; on-line articles for contact hours, are free and mailed weekly. Topics must be trauma burn related subjects. Contact hours will apply to license renewal and education requirements for trauma burn RN’s.
