2008 Pediatric Trends Conference
The current complexities in health care provide challenging “landscapes” for professional pediatric nurses. Navigating health care demands a well-prepared, competent, safe practitioner at the bedside. However, the environment, the uniqueness of educational preparation and variety of skill level continue to present challenging and complex environments in an already highly acute, patient-care population and systems.
This year’s conference theme is “Leading and Managing the Complexities of Pediatric Nursing Care.” The conference features notable speakers who are distinguished in their own fields of practice. They provide frameworks, strategies, personal and professional attributes, clinical expertise, and competencies necessary to lead and manage the complexities in pediatric nursing.
