Continuing Nursing Education

Online registration is open. If you would like to attend, there is open registration on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th from 7:00 am- 8:00 am. The presentation will begin at 8:00 am.

Continuing education for nurses is designed to enhance nurses' professional development in practice, education, administration and research, which ultimately benefits the health of the public they serve.

Children's National Medical Center's Division of Nursing Center for Continuing Education, Department of Nursing Education and Professional Development is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education  by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. Nurses who successfully complete educational activities (e.g., workshops, conferences, distance learning, etc.) that meet the ANCC criteria are assigned contact hours.

For more info, contact Miriam Erice, Nursing Staff Development Office at 202-476-4014.
