Continuing Nursing Education
Online registration is now closed. If you would like to attend, there is open registration on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th from 7:00 am- 8:00 am. The presentation will begin at 8:00 am.
Continuing education for nurses is designed to enhance nurses' professional development in practice, education, administration and research, which ultimately benefits the health of the public they serve.
Children's National Medical Center's Department of Nursing's Staff Development Office is accredited as a provider of Continuing Education in Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. Nurses who successfully complete educational activities (e.g., workshops, conferences, distance learning, etc.) that meet the ANCC criteria are assigned contact hours.
