Nursing at Children's
At Children's, we know what it takes to truly connect with kids. Our nurses specialize in pediatric medicine, ensuring that all patients, inpatients at the hospital as well as visitors to either the hospital or one of the many Children’s Health Centers have a “guardian angel” to look after them.
Nurses at Children’s have a legacy of commitment to the health and well- being of children. For more than 100 years they have served the pediatric population and their families across a continuum of care. This longstanding tradition continues today. Nurses at Children’s work closely with other healthcare professionals, bringing skill and compassion to every patient they treat and always putting the needs of children first. Together, Children’s multi-disciplinary healthcare team ensures a patient’s progress every step of the way.
Children’s Nursing Mission Nursing is integral to the mission of Care, Advocacy, Research, and Education at Children's. Nurses practice the highest level of professional, ethical, clinical, and scientific standards in the delivery of individualized care to patients and families.
Children’s Nursing Vision Nursing at Children’s promotes the advancement of professional nursing practice, nursing science and family centered-care, while providing a voice for children and families through community and global action and advocacy.
