Children’s National Hospital directs 15 percent (15%) of all restricted philanthropic gifts, greater than or equal to $10,000, to our Fund for Every Child. The fund supports mission-critical operations, including uncompensated care, community-based services and the advancement of promising yet unfunded pediatric research. This gives Children’s National the stability and flexibility to respond to unanticipated opportunities and challenges our community faces.
The hospital allocates these funds based on our greatest priorities, including:
- COVID-19
- Equipment
- Facility upgrades and repairs
- IT and technology
- Patient care and programs
- Research
- Staffing
- Training and education
