About Children's Rehabilitation and Specialized Care

Children's National Hospital Rehabilitation & Specialized Care (formerly HSC) is committed to serving people with complex healthcare needs and eliminating barriers to health services. The System combines the resources of a pediatric specialty hospital, home health agency, and rehabilitative therapy centers to offer a comprehensive approach to caring, serving and empowering people with disabilities.

As a first-of-its-kind health system in Washington, D.C., with more than a century of experience, our program remains committed to changing the lives of the people we serve through expert medical care, care coordination and advocacy.
