Affiliate Orientation Resources
For faculty and students
On behalf of Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD) we want to welcome you to Children’s National Medical Center. We are here to support you in making your clinical rotation an excellent learning opportunity.
All faculty and students must complete orientation and be cleared by NEPD two weeks before starting your clinical learning experience.
This self-study program contains all the materials necessary for completing the orientation requirement expect the medication calculation test. The medication test must be taken onsite under the supervision of the NEPD and requires a passing grade of 84%. You will be provided two opportunities to pass the test.
Please start by reading the Requirement Sheet and completing the faculty/student section. Review the orientation presentation, orientation book and policies.
Print and fill out the forms and send the completed forms to the following:

Follow the instructions on the Web-based Training Sheet to complete the required eLearning and Electronic Health Record (EHR) modules.
