Lasix Renal Scan (MAG-3)

A Lasix Renal Scan lets the doctor see how your child’s urinary system is working, including the bladder, kidneys, and ureters (small tubes that connect the bladder and kidneys). The scan is a type of nuclear medicine study performed by Children’s Division of Imaging and Radiology. All of the division’s nurses, technologists, and radiologists are dedicated to caring for kids. You can be assured that the scan is performed in the safest possible environment, designed to protect patient health and safety. Parents and guardians are also important members of the care team. You can stay and comfort your child throughout the procedure. Download a Guide to Lasix Renal Scan
