Sign up for Teen Talk
Today’s New Teens (TNT) is a series of three workshops that educates teens and teaches them communication skills to make sexually responsible choices to protect themselves and avoid situations that put their health at risk. The workshops are co-facilitated by Teens Against the Spread of AIDS (TASA) members, a peer education program for teens from Washington, DC.

TNT is for patients ages 13 through 18 who were seen at Children’s Adolescent Health Center and patients referred by their doctor. Participants who attend all three sessions can earn $30!

The workshops provide information about delaying sexual activity and using safer-sex practices, focusing on decision-making about sex, pregnancy, and sexual responsibility. All teens who participate in TNT are asked to complete pre- and post-tests to measure what you have learned.

The workshops take place the first three Mondays of every month from 5–7 pm at Children’s Sheikh Zayed Campus for Advanced Children’s Medicine on Michigan Ave., NW, 3.5 Research, Room 114.
