Advocacy In The Legislatures

Legislative Advocacy is an important function of Children’s National Medical Center. Children’s keeps in close contact with officials in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia governments about laws that affect the institution and the children we serve.

Among other actions, Children’s meets with officials, testifies at hearings, and provides issue expertise on important child health policy matters.
