Community Benefit Report (FY07)

Improving Children’s Health in Our Community
Children’s National Medical Center has demonstrated a strong commitment to the community by advocating for children and their families. We invite you to read about our community benefit report that highlights our programs and activities that demonstrate this commitment to the local community, region, and nation through our mission of Care, Advocacy, Research, and Education (CARE). From coordination of health services to the District’s foster care system to community-based intervention research study in overweight and obesity, the activities and programs highlighted in this report showcases how Children’s National in partnership with several community-based organizations, federal, state, and local agencies, and community leaders is working to improve children’s health.
