Volunteer Services

Patient Care VolunteersDr. Bear’s Ambassadors and Summer High School Volunteers are specially trained to provide play activities and companionship to patients during their hospital stay. Our volunteers are committed to relieving stress and boredom by interacting with patients in unit playrooms, at bedside, in clinic waiting rooms, the Surgery Center and in the Emergency Department. They also provide relief to caregivers and family members who may not otherwise feel comfortable stepping out of a room for a break.

Office Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
Saturday – Sunday, 11am – 3 pm
