Having Surgery at Children's

Children’s performs more than 12,000 surgeries each year at Children’s National Medical Center and the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Montgomery County. Children’s team of surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses provides highly skilled services to infants, children and adolescents needing surgery. Children’s anesthesiologists are fellowship-trained in pediatrics and Children’s surgeons practice only on kids, providing the highest level of expertise for children having surgery.
