Volunteer with Patients: Patient Care Volunteer Program

Patient Care Volunteers provide play activities and companionship to patients at their bedside and often offer relief to caregivers and family members who may not otherwise feel comfortable stepping out of a room for a break. They also work with patients treated in the Emergency Department or needing surgery, facilitate group activities, work in the Family Library, and assist with pre-surgical tours.

The Patient Care Volunteer Program is now open for recruitment. We will accept applications until March 2, 2013.  After completing the online application, the next step is attending one Orientation session. Note we will NOT contact you before Orientation. However, you will receive an automatic email confirmation that the application was received.

Orientation and Training Dates

**NOTICE** Orientation has been completed at this time. Please check back after June 30, 2013 for more information
