Available Rotations
1. Orientation
During the first 6 weeks of the residency, residents will become acclimated to the pharmacy department and the hospital. The goal of the orientation period is to prepare the resident for staffing. All residents will rotate through all of the areas of the pharmacy department. Residents will be trained by pharmacists and technicians in order to gain a complete view of pharmacy operations. Training modules, competencies, policies, and procedures are given to the resident at the beginning of orientation to guide the resident through training.
2. Required Rotations (6) (5 weeks)

- General Pediatrics
- Pediatric Critical Care
- Neonatal Critical Care
- Hematology/Oncology
- Cardiac Intensive Care
3. Elective Rotations (2) (4-6 weeks)
- Stem Cell Transplant and Immunology
- Adolescent Medicine
- Information Technology
- Pediatric Infectious Disease
- Pediatric Neurology
- Adult Acute Care
- Adult ED
- Adult Medicine
- Adult Critical Care
- Adolescent/Child Psychiatry
- Emergency Medicine
- Pain Management
- Investigational Drug Services
- Any of the required rotations may be repeated to replace an elective rotation
