Internship Training Programs



Psychology Internship Program
Children's National Medical Center (Children’s National) offers a comprehensive internship program in child clinical and pediatric psychology to pre-doctoral students in psychology. The internship is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association, initially earning accreditation in 1970.
Psychology Externship Program
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences offers practicum level training experiences in child clinical and pediatric psychology to students enrolled in doctoral programs in psychology.
Postdoctoral Fellowships in Psychology
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences offers postdoctoral fellowships for psychologists. Fellowships are sponsored by individual faculty members and tailored to the specific needs of trainees.
Child Life Internship Program and Practicum
Our internship is an intensive, clinically based program which meets the child life certification requirements regarding clinical experience.
