Overview and Description:

Children’s National Medical Center, the Division of Fetal and Transitional Medicine and the Center for Prenatal Evaluation are sponsoring a meeting on new developments in fetal medicine, March 23, 2011.
The focus of the meeting will be the rapid advances occurring in the realm of fetal diagnosis and management and will feature targeted presentations from Children’s National faculty members as well as patient care presentations from the area’s maternal-fetal medicine specialists and genetic counselors.
At the conclusion of the meeting the participants should be able to:
  1. Utilize the information gained from the program in daily practice.
  2. Identify areas for further growth of knowledge.
  3. Incorporate and develop strategies that will lead to improved fetal outcome.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through joint sponsorship of George Washington University Medical Center and Children’s National Medical Center. George Washington Medical Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical educations for physicians.
