Children's National Health Network:
Joining the Network

Membership in Children's National Health Network is offered to all practicing pediatricians in good standing in the greater Washington, D.C. region. Member pediatricians may participate in any or all of CNHN programs. We believe CNHN's high participation rate reflects our ability to work collaboratively to develop programs and opportunities that best meet the needs of our member pediatricians.

Applicants must complete a CNHN application form. Interested pediatricians can request application materials by contacting Donnita Smith at 202-476-2727 or by e-mail at dnsmith@cnmc.org.

Pediatrician/practice application fees are as follows:

  • New CNHN Practice: If you are part of a new practice to CNHN, the fee is $100 (one time fee).
  • Current CNHN Practice: If other pediatricians in your group are already members of CNHN, there will be no charge to add additional pediatricians.
We have kept the total group application expense to a minimum, because CNHN strongly encourages all members of a group to apply for CNHN membership. Greater enrollment and participation in CNHN helps Children's develop better agreements with potential strategic or corporate partners.

CNHN does not charge annual membership fees. CNHN member participation in CNHN contracts and group purchase agreements generates modest administrative fees that underwrite network administration and programs. Your active participation helps both CNHN and its member pediatricians achieve success.
