About Our Physicians

Children’s internationally recognized team of pediatric physicians care for more than 360,000 patients each year who come from throughout the region, nation, and world. This multidisciplinary team coordinates resources to ensure that patients are treated in a unique family-centered care environment.

The team consists of:

• Pediatric specialists in more than 45 specialties, many of whom serve on the faculty of the George Washington University School of Medicine
• Primary care physicians in seven community health centers and mobile health program within the District of Columbia
• Children’s Pediatricians and Associates—Six pediatric practices owned and managed by Children’s National Medical Center
• The region’s largest physician network, Children’s National Health Network, with more than 550 affiliated pediatricians and 170 member practices
