Driving Directions: From points south:
  • I-270 North towards Frederick
  • Take exit 8, stay in left lane
  • Turn left onto Shady Grove Road. Stay in the left-hand lane
  • After crossing over I-270, turn left at second light onto Corporate Boulevard
  • Take the first or second left turn into the parking area.
    You will want to enter the building at the South Entrance (the end of the building closest to the parking lot entrance). When inside the lobby, take the elevator to the Third Floor. As you exit the elevator, our office will be immediately to your left.
From points west:
  • I-270 South
  • Take exit 8 for Shady Grove Road
  • Stay in the left of the two right-hand turn lanes
  • After turning right onto Shady Grove Road, get in the far left lane and make a left onto Corporate Boulevard at the first light
  • Take the first or second left turn into the parking area

Biography

Lauren Krivitzky is a pediatric neuropsychologist in the Division of Neuropsychology at Children’s National Medical Center and is an assistant professor in the Division of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). Dr. Krivitzky joined the staff at Children’s National in 2004. Dr. Krivitzky has a strong interest in studying acquired brain injuries and provides consultation to the National Center for Children’s Rehabilitation, a joint effort between Children’s National and the National Rehabilitation Hospital. She is currently conducting a study examining functional MRI and diffusion tensor imaging in children with mild traumatic brain injuries. She is also involved in multi-disciplinary research with the Genetics and Metabolism program and is the lead neuropsychologist on a large multi-center NIH study examining neuropsychological outcomes in individuals with Urea Cycle Disorders. Dr. Krivitzky is also the co-director of training for the post-doctoral program in pediatric neuropsychology at Children’s National.
