Driving Directions: From points south:
  • I-270 North towards Frederick
  • Take exit 8, stay in left lane
  • Turn left onto Shady Grove Road. Stay in the left-hand lane
  • After crossing over I-270, turn left at second light onto Corporate Boulevard
  • Take the first or second left turn into the parking area.
    You will want to enter the building at the South Entrance (the end of the building closest to the parking lot entrance). When inside the lobby, take the elevator to the Third Floor. As you exit the elevator, our office will be immediately to your left.
From points west:
  • I-270 South
  • Take exit 8 for Shady Grove Road
  • Stay in the left of the two right-hand turn lanes
  • After turning right onto Shady Grove Road, get in the far left lane and make a left onto Corporate Boulevard at the first light
  • Take the first or second left turn into the parking area

Biography

Laura Anthony, PhD, specializes in the assessment and treatment of children and teens with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and their families. Her current research is focused in developing classroom strategies to help children with ASD learn cognitive and behavioral flexibility. Dr. Anthony earned her PhD in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and did her training in Child Psychology at the University of Maryland Medical System. She was on the faculty at Maryland for eight years and has been with Children's National since 2007. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the International Society for Autism Research, and the Society for Research in Child Development. In addition to a robust clinical practice caring for children and teens, she continues her research and publishing, authoring numerous articles, treatment manuals and book chapters on identification and caring for children and teens with mental health conditions and developmental disorders.
