Biography

Irene J Mikhail, MD is a pediatric Allergist and Immunologist at Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Mikhail’s clinical interests include food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, pediatric asthma and severe atopic dermatitis. Dr. Mikhail is dedicated to spending time with families to ensure children receive the correct diagnosis, treatment and education. She is very interested in improving the quality of life for children suffering from allergic and immune diseases. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mikhail is very interested in clinical research and medical education. She grew up in Fairfax, VA and currently lives in VA with her husband and daughter.
