Biography

Elizabeth Edgerton, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician. She is active in research regarding injury and violence prevention education in the local communities. Dr. Edgerton served as the director of the Injury Free Coalition for Kids in the District of Columbia. In this role she developed a school-based bullying prevention program that included developing a surveillance model for school nurses and a culturally appropriate intervention for schools.
