Biography
Alfred Chahine, MD, FACS, is an attending pediatric surgeon in the Division of General and Thoracic Surgery at Children's National and an Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine. In practice since 1998, Dr. Chahine joined Children’s National Medical Center from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Chahine’s interests are in minimally invasive surgery of the abdomen and chest, neonatal surgery, and surgical education. He is the recipient of multiple teaching awards from medical students and surgical residents from Vanderbilt University, New York Medical College and Georgetown University.
