Richard Kaplan, MD, is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Children's National Medical Center. He has been practicing at Children’s National for more than 15 years.

Dr. Kaplan is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in pediatric anesthesiology, with expertise in a variety of specialized areas, including education, malignant hyperthermia, and pediatric sedation.
