Listserv Breakdown:
EMSC Grantee Listserv
Reaching more than 500 subscribers, the EMSC Grantee Listserv serves as the communication hub for all federal-, national-, state-, and local-level EMSC activities. Members of this listserv will receive EMSC QuickNews , a weekly digest of program news and activities of interest to grantees, federal partners, and organizational supporters. This listserv also provides grantees and EMSC partners the opportunity to cross-promote their achievements, stimulate communication between others that are working on similar projects, and relay creative strategies individuals are using to meet EMSC performance measures.
EMSC Research Listserv
Distributed biweekly, this listserv reaches more than 250 members of the EMSC research community, including Network Development Demonstration Project (NDDP) grantees, Targeted Issue (TI) grantees, and former TI grantees. Listserv postings address a variety of topics, including: data and research resources, calls for abstracts/papers, EMSC-related research funding opportunities, federal agency research regulation announcements, and publications of interest to EMSC researchers, among other items.
PECARN Listserv
This listserv provides participants of the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) with information on focused topics related to the current or future work of network. An example of topics covered thus far include: translational research, genetic sampling, and trauma research. Non-PECARN participants may subscribe to this listserv.
PECARN PR Listserv
The primary purpose of this listserv is to alert key public relations, communications, and/or public affairs professionals when a PECARN study is about to be published and to provide them with the information and tools needed to proactively promote the study among local media outlets. In addition to circulating messages about an upcoming PECARN study, members may activate the listserv to help promote non-PECARN pediatric-related activities happening within their institution.
EMSC Family Advisory Network Listserv
Targeting members of the EMSC Family Advisory Network (FAN), this listserv focuses on distributing information about national and state-level EMSC activities, meetings, and funding opportunities. Members are encouraged to use the listserv as a means to update other FAN members about their activities and accomplishments and to strategize solutions to common issues. (Note: This listserv is open only to EMSC family representatives selected by the state EMSC program manager/advisory committee.)
