The EMSC Recognition Awards
In 2012, MCHB began something new, the EMSC Recognition Awards. The purpose of this program is to call some well-deserved attention to individuals within EMSC who, in the previous year, went above and beyond to provide advice, inspiration, and leadership in grant-related matters. Those that are recognized will be added to the pool of candidates for the 2014 National Heroes Award ceremony, which will be held once every four years. The EMSC Recognition Awards will be held annually and recognize individuals for the exceptional work accomplished within the year as oppose to deeds accomplished over a four year period or more.
