Bedside Testing / Direct Access Testing

The Division of Laboratory Medicine performs more than 600,000 tests annually at or near the patient’s bedside at the hospital and several of the Regional Outpatient Centers. This point-of-care testing provides rapid results that aid in treating patients.

  • Glucose and hemoglobin A1C level measurement for monitoring diabetes

  • Pregnancy testing
