Tests and Services
Urodynamic Testing A urology nurse or nurse practitioner performs urodynamic testing to evaluate the function of the urinary system muscles and structures. The test helps your child’s doctor see how the bladder fills and empties. A doctor often requests the test for patients with neurological (nervous system) disorders and to identify the cause of voiding disorders. Examples of voiding disorders include daytime and nighttime bedwetting, and difficulties with bladder control. We use the results of the test to develop an individual treatment plan for your child.
