Burgess Clinic

The Burgess Clinic was developed in 1989 to meet the unique medical and social support needs of adolescents, ages 13 – 21 years of age who are infected with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.  As part of the Section Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Section, the Clinic offers comprehensive health care services, providing both acute and chronic care.  The health care team is experienced in dealing with the special issues faced by young people infected with HIV. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, social workers/medical case managers, nutritionists, health educators, a research team, and other specialists as needed.

Please feel free to contact us with your concerns and questions.
