Inner City Asthma Consortium (ICAC) Children’s is one of ten sites funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study immune-based therapies in pediatric asthma. Two such projects are ongoing:
- Asthma Control Evaluation (ACE) is a prospective randomized double-blind evaluation of the role of exhaled nitric oxide (eNO) in asthma management in a cohort of asthmatic children aged 12-20
- Inner City Anti-IgE Therapy for Asthma (ICATA) is a prospective randomized double-blind placebo controlled trial of anti-IgE therapy in a cohort of asthmatic children aged 6-20
