Children’s understands that when a child needs surgery, it is a stressful time for families. Children’s has many resources to
help families prepare for the experience. Many support services.
Children’s encourages families to visit the hospital for a pre-surgical tour so children can familiarize themselves with the process. Tours take place every Sunday at 2 pm in the hospital Atrium. The tour takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. No registration is necessary.
Children’s also offers an online pre-surgical tour in language that is easy for kids to understand.
